Burma's Burden

Like many of our other orphanages and children's home, Life Garden, Andrew Orphanage is committed to providing shelter, education and helping the orphans and abandoned children in
Myanmar(Burma). Many such children, we call them Burma's burden of the smaller ethnic groups from the borders are victims of marginalization and malnutrition. Parents died of illness, dieases, poverty, fighting or even overworking. Single parents have no ability to raise the children when their spouse suffered the abovementioned conditions. Many just abandoned the children. Those who knew send them to orphanages all over the countries. Life Garden is one of them. Here at our orphanage, we want to build up these lives who will in turn and later in life build the country and economy.

Our Heart

We believe in the value of each life, the vision that each child should of his future life and the vehemence can get with help from the society.

All our children homes and orphanages are properly managed and officially registered with both the township and central government in Yangon. There are few orphanages operated by foreigners that are not registered and have either been closed down or in the risk of being disrupted government departments, causing hurt and disturbance to the children's lives.

Your Heart?

We welcome you to be a part of the work of helping and caring for Myanmar(Burma)'s burden.

If you planning to visit Myanmar, we hope you can drop in and visit us. If you would like to volunteer and help out, be a part of supporting the burden to provide for these children's education and enrichment.
